We hunt in the Interlake area of Manitoba, which is a major staging area for well over three quarters of a million Canada , Snow, Blue and Ross Geese. The hunts run from Mid-September to the end of October.
The Weather plays a significant roll on the success of fall Goose hunting. Your shooting ability plays a major roll. I'll get the birds into range, but it's up to you to put them on the ground. These are decoying birds with most shots called in the 25-50 yard range. Most hunters are going to shoot between 10-20 birds per field per day.

What you need to bring:
License requirement for Manitoba.
Hunter Safety Certificate.
Non-toxic shotgun shells...Minimum 2 boxes per day. I use 3" steel BB's.
Camo clothing and facemask for warm and cold weather.
Camera to capture the hunt on film. I will provide digital pictures via e-mail of the outcome.
Waders(optional): Nice for the muddy field conditions but not necessary.
Willingness to have fun and help with the decoy spread.
Winnipeg is located approx. 60 miles north of the Manitoba/North Dakota border. We have been very successful hunting the Interlake region. Lundar and Teulon have provided many exciting and rewarding Goose and Mallard shoots.
