How to hook up two 12' type R's both 4ohm to a MRP-M1000?

At the moment I have one 12' type R 4ohm. I plan on getting another 12' and the 1000watt class D alpine amp, its the MRP-M1000. But i think I will run into some confusion when I hook it up. I would like 500watts going to each 12'. If someone could tell me how to hook them up or send a diagram that would be great. Keep in mind both 12's are 4ohm. thanks alot.

Ok, first, don't get that amp, you can, go ahead, but mono block amps are really only made to push one sub.
So i'm guessing this is your sub,

and this is the amp you want,

lets take a closer look at the specs, first the subs, because, you always want to match the RMS of subs and amps to each other.
Power handling: 50-500 watts RMS
# dual 4-ohm voice coils
And the amp,
RMS Power Range : 600-1000 Watts

# RMS Power @ 2 ohms: 1000W x 1
remember, if you hook up two subs to this amp, your slpiting the power down by 2, in other words,

Ok you have one 500watt RMS sub, you want another 500 RMS sub, so your total RMS power need is 1000RMS watts,
so get a 2 channel amp, that runs 500RMS per channel to each sub in stereo mode, this will most likely drop it to 2ohms, just wire the subs in Series and the impedance will stay at your subs rated 4ohm.
