I have a ford 2.0L pinto engined kit car with Cortina transmision and rear axle, in 4th and 5th gear only, the gear lever vibrates significantly more that 1, 2 or 3rd gears which could be speed dependant, is it the gearbox or propshaft causing this?

I would think it would be your propshaft. Can your rotate 180 degree's?.. Maybe out of balance?
