I was on the trail this weekend and as we stoped to read a trail map, my machine just stoped idling. It would not start up again. There is no spark at either of the two plugs. It's not the coil or the cpu as my brother has the same machine and we switched parts and no luck. Any ideas ?

check the carb switches and the throttle moniter switch they(1or the other) may have shorted out or is out of adjustment. ps did you check the teather switch and the stop switch circuit? try adding throttle and checking for spark if so t. moniter or carb switches need looked at. does this have electric start or efi? makes big differance in answer could also be stator
