Carpel Tunnel Syndromes? Exercises?

I am a hairstylist, been doing hair for about 7 years and recently finding alot of pain and/or cramps in my hands...Especially my right hand, between my thumb and pointer finger.

I am surprised to have this pain after only 7 years in the field. It hurts to open jars, hold a shopping bag for a long time, and especially when...doing hair!

Please go to your doctor and have your hand looked at. It does sound like it, but I am no doctor.
I am again looking at the surgery and again I am getting a second opinion.
The crapping hurts like a son of a gun, however from what I am being told the surgery helps on some people.
I have yet to find a exercise that helps, I was diagnosed with this gosh 20 something years ago. I have braces to wear but this doesn't do much good for the crapping. The pain shots for me hurt worse. Though I do have several arthritis's and deformity.
